Quantum Engineering was entrusted with the installation of advanced air conditioning and HVAC systems at the prestigious Leopard Beach Hotel, located along the pristine shores of Diani Beach. As a five-star resort, maintaining a comfortable and climate-controlled environment for its guests is a top priority, especially in the coastal climate where high temperatures and humidity are common.
Scope of Work:
The project involved the design and installation of a comprehensive air conditioning and HVAC system that ensures optimal cooling and air quality throughout the hotel. The system needed to cater to a variety of spaces, including guest rooms, conference facilities, dining areas, and the hotel’s renowned spa.
Key components of the project included:
- Customized HVAC Design: Tailored to the resort’s needs, ensuring efficient cooling for all areas, from large common spaces to private guest rooms.
- Split Air Conditioning Units: Installation of energy-efficient split air conditioning systems in guest rooms, providing individual temperature control for a personalized guest experience.
- Chillers and Air Handling Units (AHUs): High-capacity chillers were installed to serve large spaces like the lobby, restaurants, and conference halls, while air handling units were placed to improve air circulation and quality.
- Energy Efficiency: The coastal location demanded a system that could handle high humidity levels while minimizing energy consumption, making energy efficiency a top priority in the design and implementation.
